Authorities say he kidnapped a girl when she was just 7 years old back in 2012 and kept her captive for 12 years. During this time, he allegedly abused her and manipulated her into thinking that what was happening was normal.

The girl managed to escape in February 2024 after confronting Grisales about his treatment of her. He reportedly locked her in their home, but she found a way to get out.

Over the years, Grisales changed her name and moved her around different places in Medellín and Bello, making it hard for anyone to find her. He also took her out of school and kept her from talking to other people.

Now, he faces multiple charges, including kidnapping, sexual abuse, and producing child pornography. At his first court appearance, he denied all the charges against him.

This story is a heartbreaking reminder of the importance of protecting children and ensuring their safety. If you or someone you know has experienced sexual assault, it’s crucial to reach out for help.
