The FBI is offering a $10,000 reward for any tips leading to the arrest of a man accused of a tragic crime on the Ute Mountain Ute Reservation in Towaoc, Colorado. Authorities say the incident happened in the early morning hours of December 11, when a minor was shot and killed.

Jeremiah Hight, a 23-year-old man, is wanted in connection with the death. An arrest warrant was issued for him on December 19, listing charges of murder, assault with a dangerous weapon, and firing a gun during a violent crime.

Described as 6 feet tall and weighing 400 pounds, Hight has black hair, brown eyes, and tattoos on his right leg, both arms, both shoulders, and neck. He is a member of the Ute Mountain Ute Tribe and is believed to have ties to Monument Valley, Utah, in the Four Corners region.

Authorities warn that Hight might be armed and has already shown he can be dangerous. The FBI is urging anyone with information about him or his location to come forward.

If you know anything that could help, you’re asked to call the FBI at 1-800-225-5324 or submit a report online. The reward isn’t just for his arrest but also for information leading to his conviction.

This case has shaken the Ute Mountain Ute community, and officials hope the reward will encourage people to share what they know, helping bring justice to the victim and their family.
