15-Year-Old Arrested for Murder of Tampa Teen Found Near Railroad Tracks

December 6, 2024—Tampa police have arrested 15-year-old Jahmir Moore in connection with the April 17 shooting death of 14-year-old Jevario Buie, whose body was discovered near railroad tracks between Busch Boulevard and Rome Avenue.

Incident Overview

On April 17, officers responded to reports of gunfire near the 1400 block of W. Busch Blvd. and found Buie deceased at the scene. Surveillance footage showed Buie walking with Moore and another individual shortly before the shooting. (Fox 13 News)
