A man was injured in a shooting on Monday afternoon in Chicago’s Rogers Park neighborhood, according to police.

The incident happened around 4:50 p.m. in the 1400 block of West Morse Avenue. It started as a verbal argument between two men, which quickly turned into a physical fight. During the altercation, one of the men, a 37-year-old, was shot multiple times.

Emergency services arrived at the scene and rushed the wounded man to St. Francis Hospital in Evanston. Fortunately, his condition is stable, and he is currently listed as fair.

So far, no arrests have been made, and the police are still investigating the situation.
