In Houston, a man landed in trouble after an encounter with deputies in northwest Harris County. The man, 56-year-old John Hunter, now faces some serious charges, including making terroristic threats against a peace officer and retaliation.

It all started on Thursday when deputies from Constable Mark Herman’s Office were responding to a call about a suspicious person. The incident unfolded in the 3700 block of FM 1960 West. When they approached Hunter, things quickly took a tense turn.

According to the deputies, he got aggressive and even threatened to fight them. At one point, he reportedly slammed his head into a patrol vehicle, which led to his detention.

But the drama didn’t stop there. While being taken to the Harris County Jail, Hunter allegedly made threats to kill one of the deputies. This only added to his list of charges.

Hunter is now booked into the Harris County Jail, and as of now, no bond has been set for his release.
