Police are searching for a suspect after a tragic shooting outside a motor vehicle office in Louisville, Kentucky. The incident happened on Friday afternoon in the Valley Station area, leaving three people dead.
What Happened?
Authorities reported that a man was pronounced dead at the scene. Two women who were also shot were taken to the hospital but did not survive.
So far, no arrests have been made, and the suspect is still on the run. Louisville Metro Police Department Major Donald Boeckman said the investigation is ongoing.
“It’s a terrible tragedy,” Boeckman stated. “There were many people outside, and it’s surprising more people weren’t hurt.”
Suspect Fled the Scene
Witnesses told officers that the shooter quickly left the area in a car. However, police assured the public that there is no ongoing danger.
Authorities are working to gather more details and locate the suspect as the investigation continues.
