Chicago police are investigating another sexual assault in the Logan Square neighborhood on the city’s Northwest Side. The attack happened early Sunday morning.

According to police, a 23-year-old woman was inside a vehicle around 2 a.m. when a man sexually assaulted her. The attack took place near the 3200 block of West Palmer Street.

After the assault, the woman was taken to Advocate Illinois Masonic Medical Center for medical treatment. Police have not yet arrested the suspect.

Authorities describe the attacker as a man around 40 years old with short hair. He fled the scene in an unknown direction.

It is unclear if this incident is connected to previous attacks in the area. Earlier this year, in January and February, a man with a knife was wanted for three similar assaults in Logan Square.

Area 5 detectives are currently investigating the case.

Anyone with information is urged to contact the police.
