Three men were injured in a shooting that took place on Sunday afternoon in the West Humboldt Park neighborhood of Chicago, according to the police.

The shooting occurred at approximately 3:26 p.m. in the 4200 block of West Crystal Street. Police reported that the victims were standing outside a home when gunfire erupted, leaving them wounded.

Among the victims was a 23-year-old man who managed to transport himself to Humboldt Park Health for medical attention. Another victim, an 18-year-old man, also sought help on his own at St. Mary Hospital. Both were initially reported to be in critical condition.

A third victim, a 16-year-old boy, also took himself to St. Mary Hospital. He was initially listed in good condition but was later transferred to Stroger Hospital along with the other two victims. After being evaluated at Stroger Hospital, all three were listed in critical condition.

At this time, no arrests have been made in connection with the shooting. Authorities are investigating the incident and searching for suspects.

The West Humboldt Park neighborhood, located on Chicago’s West Side, has experienced gun violence in the past, and incidents like this continue to be a concern for the community. Police are urging anyone with information about the shooting to come forward and assist with the investigation.
