A man has been arrested in Columbus, Ohio, after being accused of shooting and killing another man during an argument back in November.

Devon R. Ford, 26, was taken into custody on Wednesday on Grasmere Avenue, not far from where he lives.

Police say Ford is facing a murder charge for the deadly shooting of 40-year-old Abdulrahman Mohamed, which happened on November 9, 2024, near Walford Street and Fitzroy Drive.

According to the investigation, the argument reportedly started when Mohamed called Ford’s younger brother some names.

Things escalated, and Ford allegedly pulled out a gun and shot Mohamed, as well as another man.

Detectives explained that cameras in the area caught the entire incident from several angles. There were also witnesses who saw what happened and provided information to the police.

This tragic event has left the community shaken as investigators work to piece together all the details. Ford is now in custody, and the legal process will determine the next steps in this case.
